Tree of Life reaches out to single ladies and families in our community to help them get back on their feet.

Tree of Life’s Working Hands Ministry
seeks to help those in need with household repairs.

Each spring Tree of Life hosts an Annual Clothing and Furniture Drive and Giveaway for one week, culminating in a joyous day of giving away all of the collected donations to hundreds of families throughout our community.

NEED HELP?

Our Transitional Housing program was designed for those who have
a willingness to work hard and achieve goals they set for themselves.
The program involves mandatory weekly classes.

 

Qualifications include:

 

    Single Ladies (maximum two children)

    Working at least 30 hours per week, or in a job skills

    program working 20 hours per week

    No felonies in past 10 years

    No alcohol/drug abuse in past 12 months

    Emotionally stable

    Able to climb stairs

 

Program includes:

 

    Weekly case management

    Mandatory Financial & Employment Classes

    Health Coach available

    Monthly program fee based on income

    10% mandatory savings escrow

The people housed in our apartments gather together weekly in Partner Care
Groups and volunteers who co-lead these groups have caring hearts and the
ability to help others set and meet goals.  Please sign up

NEED HELP?

There are a multitude of repairs and other tasks that may not be affordable to those struggling to make ends meet.  If you have repairs to be completed that
are not urgent, call Tree of Life at 540-441-7920.

 

WANT TO HELP?

The current focus of this ministry is to assemble people in the community on
a periodic basis to help repair the homes of people in need.  Those who would like to volunteer to assist or lead a team should contact Tree of Life at info@tolministries.org or 540-441-7920.

    Held at Purcellville Baptist Church, 601 Yaxley Drive, Purcellville.

 

2) Tree of Life has a Teen Clothing Closet

 

    The Clothing Closet is available by appointment by calling 540-441-7920.

    Teen Clothing Closet Giveaways will be held on the following dates at the

    Purcellville Tree of Life Center, and will include free haircuts!

 

    August 26, 2017 10 am – 12 noon

 

    September 9, 2017 10 am – 12 noon

 

 

WANT TO HELP?

A sign up will be posted on this site to recruit volunteers to help with the Giveaway.  Helpers are needed to sort clothes, make and serve breakfast, set up and tear down, load/unload furniture, staff healthcare table, put up signs and much more!

 

Tree of Life is seeking groups that are willing to do clothing drives for teenagers during the summer.  If you are willing to help coordinate this for your group, please let us know at 540-441-7920 or at info@tolministries.org.
