We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Alex Montgomery as the new Leesburg Regional Director. As a former Homeland Security & Homeland Defense
professional with over 20 years’ experience managing plans and programs in the public sector and a retired USAF officer, Alex brings an incredible breadth of
knowledge and experience to TOL.
Alex, his wife, Amy, and their two sons reside in Leesburg and attends Potomac Hills Presbyterian Church. He and his family have been faithful supporters of
TOL for a long time. Alex stepped forward as the Leesburg Shelter Branch Director in October 2021. Right away, he felt the Lord leading him to pursue the
vacant Regional Director role. We are so thankful that he did and look forward to seeing how God works through him! The next time you are in Leesburg or at
SimplyBe Coffee, stop in and give him a warm welcome!

The Clothing Closet is excited to report that 135 individuals were provided free clothing last year! What’s even more, each of these individuals received an
assortment of items to include three outfits, coats, shoes, backpacks, and accessories! What a wonderful extension of our Shelter Branch across Loudoun County.
Currently, the store is transitioning from winter to spring and is now accepting spring clothing donations! So as you begin your spring cleaning, please keep the
Clothing Closet in mind!
A new regular event at the store is Story Time offering children wholesome read-aloud stories, often from the Bible, every Wednesday at 9:30AM. In addition, the
Clothing Closet will be hosting a private “Galentines” event for our Housing partners this month, where they will be offered refreshments, personal shopping time,
free clothing, and a hair consultation curtesy of Jenny’s Salon! We hope that the ladies will enjoy the pampering and feel loved!

One exciting new initiative that we recently launched at SimplyBe Coffee is Impact Day. Presented with these two challenges, we sought the Lord for wisdom and direction:
1) How to continue to employ individuals with special needs
2) How to reach the poor and needy in our community
In a step of faith, we launched Impact Day where we offer all consumable products at NO CHARGE but graciously welcome DONATIONS.
Every Tuesday, we invite you to help support our cause by enabling SBC to continue employing and to help offer coffee and baked goods at NO CHARGE to the community.
DONATE what you can or enjoy it on us!

It’s been a rough couple of years for many people. Tree of Life has reached out with food, clothes, financial assistance, and healthcare vouchers; these have blessed many
through the generosity of each of our donors. The gratefulness of those that receive is overwhelming, and many just can’t believe how much they are loved.
The difference in the gift is in the love and the hope that is shared. Each person who receives is also a blessed with a prayer—an opportunity to be lifted up and connect
with the Savior of the world. The hope comes in knowing that Jesus died for us so that our sins can be forgiven and so we can live with him eternally.
That’s a different kind of gift. A gift that has meaning. A gift given in love is one that is not forgotten. This gift has eternal significance. “Therefore, as God’s chosen people,
holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Colossians 3:12).
Jesus said, “As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34).
May you be blessed,
Chaplain Wayne
